Sales Coordinator-Savage, MN.

RMS, a Distributor of Heavy Construction Equipment is seeking an Inside Sales Coordinator for its Rentals facility located in Savage, MN. Qualified candidates will be responsible for renting & selling products to walk-in and call in customers.  While working closely with the Inside Sales Manager for pricing and profit margin information, you will also assist and serve as the point of contact for RMS Rentals’ Outside Sales Representatives.  This position requires a high sense of urgency and timeliness in responding to multiple customer requests, with a proactive follow up approach. Excellent customer service and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail are needed to succeed in this position. Hydraulic Machinist-Savage

RMS Hydraulic Services, a division of Road Machinery & Supplies Co. is seeking candidates who have experienced skills in machining and fabricating. (welding is a plus, but not needed) Strong math and measurement skills are desired, and will help you succeed in this position. The ability to identify material and sizes, cutting stock from inventory, and recording the material used, are part of daily activities. This position works closely with the Hydraulic Mechanics in trouble shooting work failures and successes. Qualified candidates should have the ability to work well with all levels of the department. Resident Field Service Technician-NE Iowa

Our continued growth has created the opportunity for our Iowa operations division to add a Resident Field Service Technician in the Northeast Iowa area. Road Machinery & Supplies Co. is a distributor of Heavy Construction, Mining, and Paving Equipment which sells and services brands such as Komatsu, Gomaco, KPI-JCI, Atlas Copco, and many more. We are seeking an experienced Construction or Ag Field Service Technician to reside within the ten (10) counties in NE Iowa. In this position, you will work within a close proximity of your residential area, and will be equipped with a field service truck. This position will work in conjunction with our Cedar Rapids, Iowa facility and will report to the Cedar Rapids Service Manager.

The ideal candidate will have five (5) years’ experience as a Field Service Technician for an OEM heavy equipment distributer. This position requires exceptional skills in hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting, and repair of heavy construction equipment. RMS desires employees that can build and maintain solid customer relationships, are self-directed, and can demonstrate safe working habits. A strong work ethic along with the ability to work outside in the elements are also required.

In this role, you will be the service repair contact of RMS for the customers you serve in your geographic area, but may also be dispatched to other geographic areas as needed. You will be responsible for a high standard of quick response time to customers, and will be required to have a high sense of urgency in prioritizing customer repairs.

You must possess a CDL driver’s license with a clean driving record, the ability to pass a drug test and fitness for duty physical. General computer and paperwork processing skills are also essential in this position.

Regional Operations Manager-(Iowa/Western Illinois)

Road Machinery & Supplies Co is a distributor of heavy construction and mining equipment. Our brands include Komatsu, Gomaco, KPI-JCI, Atlas Copco, Roadtec, and more. We are seeking an experienced Regional Operations Manager to oversee operations for the state of Iowa and Quad Cities area for our parts, service, and rental departments. Qualified candidates will be integral to our long term strategic positioning of resources and activities to ensure both short and long-term successes.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years’ service department supervisory experience in a multi-location environment; where he/she has overall responsibility for the financial performance, team building, and establishment of best practices to elevate the overall service operations. Furthermore, demonstrated success in dealership parts operations is also desired. A four-year degree, MS-Office proficiency, ability to use RMS business systems, and vendor extranet support systems are required. Strong problem solving, multi-tasking, and personnel, inventory, and project management skills are also required to succeed in this role.
